We are still working on the internal parts of this new "look" but once it is done, we think you will find it much easier to reach the information you need. We are planning some really exciting new items to give our site more bounce to the ounce! Please keep coming back to see what's new that we can do for you!
We Strive to Make a Difference!
The San Antonio Hotel & Lodging Association continues to be one of the most active organizations within our local Hospitality community. We are involved in every aspect of our industry and our members are constantly and actively engaged in projects that will improve our working environment and the overall quality of life for all of our citizens. Our industry strives to protect and preseve those elements that make San Antonio such a special and unique place to live and to visit.
Editor's note: Our calendar is full to overflowing with events and activies that consume our time but make us proud to be a part of such a vibrant industry. We do our best to keep these website pages current, but if we should fall behind, don't hesitate to send us an email and we will do a quick update to get us all back on track.

GREAT BEGINNING FOR 2008
The Association's Hospy Gala held in mid-February was a terrific event - as always! It was a great evening for catching up with colleagues after a very busy and successful year! The fund-raising results of this event will be felt throughtout the year as our organization is able to provide financial support for hospitality employees to increase their skills and knowledge, to increase the amount of monies dedicated to local college scholarships, to graduating high school seniors wishing to enter college programs in the hospitality field and to provide support to individual students seeking the expertise gained only through specialized training programs.
THANK YOU SPONSORS!
Our ability to raise funds to support these educational endeavors is due in large part to a group of dedicated members who are always there to support our projects. We use this website to thank them and to provide you with an opportunity to take a look at their their products and services displayed on their individual websites. Please take a moment to look over our stellar list and review what they have to offer your business. nbsp;Click on: Sponsors

January: HYATT REGENCY RIVERWALK's F.O.R.C.E. Management and the employees in F.O.R.C.E worked hand-in-hand with the "Make a Wish Foundation" last year to grant a very special wish for two beautiful little teenage girls whose physical condition will never allow them to develop and grow to a normal size. Their wish was to have a bedroom to accommodate their needs and that is exactly what they got and then some! In one short week, contractors and employees transformed a normal sized bedroom into a "wing" - all in doll size proportions - for the girls. What a delight to see on their amazing faces as they flipped light switches and sat on chairs and beds just their size! |
February: HOTEL VALENCIA Management and staff at the Hotel Valencia never stop their efforts to be of help to their neighbors. Each month brings another cause to be supported and acknowledged. From the American Heart Association and a Cure for Cancer, to the Boys and Girls Club and the Children's Shelter, special programs are always on the calendar. And, if that wasn't enough, the first Thursday of each month is set aside to raise money and awareness of the importance of San Antonio's Food Bank. |
Congratulations to our Winners - Stay tuned for more!
